Again, aga telat tuk sebuah review. Emang kebiasaan gw suka aga telat nonton film. Anyway, finally I got the chance to watch this fantastic movie.
Vantage Point! One action movie. Great plot, amazing scenes, bener-bener film yang ga ngebosenin. Eight point of views from eight different people. It makes eight different scenes yang akhirnya jadi satu. Full of action, gunshots, less drama. Almost everybody dies. Keren lah pokonya. Worth to watch.

Harry Potter and The Order Of The Phoenix

A lil’bit late I just watched this movie this afternoon, hehe. Great movie. Finally! The magic is back since the previous one had less magic which so dissaponting for me. Now..I’m very much satisfied by so many magic showed here inside this movie. Plus this time not only Harry-Hermione-Ron who battle. But the other character also take part in the battle. Even Dumbledore himself shows his power against Voldemort. Fantastic! So, this is definetly worth-to-watch movie. =)

expectation

People usually have great expectation on everything. Fly wishes high towards the stars. But among those people, there are some who can not stand with dissapoinment. They can’t deal with failure. If something goes not exactly like they wanted to then the world suddenly seems cruel. Okay, that’s too much. But what I’m trying to say is not every people who put high expectation can deal with the reality condition which might be a little bit rough. I’m not saying that people should stop expecting or peple shouldn’t put high expectation. Because high expectation is a good thing. It encourages us to do the best thing in order to reach what we expect for. But, for those who can’t deal with dissapointment, try to lower down your expectation. This way, you wont feel huge dissapointment if you fail, instead you’ll feel really really really great if you have something far beyond your expectation. Believe me, I’ve experienced it many times.

An old movie but I just got the chance to watch this about a week ago. Hm..what can I say about this movie? First thing comes to mind is this, "This is definitely ur kind of movie, racer!" Then the second thing is, "AHA!..Now I know where ur shoutout came from."
Okay, that’s enough. Really..about this movie..full of gunshots, cold-blooded killer, sadistic, and everybody dies. The movie takes about almost three hours. Yep, quite a long time. The movie tells a story about a drug dealer, drug addict, and both impact on Toni. Being a drug dealer and a drug addict, with some skill he manage to be the greatest. Has all the money, even overloaded. Has the girl the ever wanted. But..end up in tragedy. His prosperity makes him forget who he was, makes him no longer able to see the right thing. His wife left him, he killed his best friend, he got his sister killed, and he got killed inside his own home.
The most emotional scene is when Toni shoot Manny (his very best partner, friend, and brother who happens to be in love with his little sister) in front of Manny’s house, just right after Manny opened the door. Damn! I hate that scene.
Worth to watch. It has so many moral message inside.

be grateful

Be grateful. Be thankful. That’s exactly what a person needs to be able to live a life. Simple but almost forgotten. Usually whining and complaining is almost everything a person can do. Including me. It seems a lot easier to speak up about ugliness than think about smallest gift. Well maybe that’s why a person usually never feel satisfy. There’s always a why-this-should-happen-and-why-that-should-happen inside. Yeah, I often ask that too. It’s not really a bad thing if you know how to use it. I mean, you can actually think about those questions and ask it to yourself. Don’t throw the question to someone else or to anything. That way, you can force yourself to think how can everything possibly happen. Coz everything in our life teaches us something. So, instead of getting upset all the time, why don’t we try to think what’s the lesson of the event.

A Walk To Remember

Okay, the movie I’d like to give comment now is not a new movie. It’s an old movie. A Walk To Remember. Yang maen Mandy Moore sama cowo ganteng yang gw lupa namanya plus males mau nyari tau di bang google. Dan gw lupa deh tepatnya kapan ni film keluar. Pokonya periodenya adalah antara jaman SMA ama awal-awal kuliah. Why this movie? Entah ya, ni film berkesan aja di gw. I just love it. Not a happy ending love story fairytale but somehow it’s romantic.
Ceritanya standar banget. Secara singkat, inti ceritanya tentang cowo badung yang tergabung di geng ngetop yang akhirnya jatuh cinta sama cewek cupu yang dandanannya sama sekali ga oke. Mereka akhirnya saling interaksi setelah si cowo dapet hukuman dari sekolah untuk ikutan maen di drama musikal. Si cowo ditaro jadi pemeran utama cowo di drama itu dengan lawan main si cewe ini. Nah, demi ngelulusin hukumannya, cowo ini akhirnya minta tolong ajarin berakting drama sama si cewe. “But promise me one thing. Don’t fall in love with me.”, gitu kata si cewe pas diminta tolong. Si cowo cuma ktawa ngeledek sambil ngasi tatapan ‘ga-mungkin-lah’. So let the drama begins. Keren lah hasil dramanya. Si cewe didandanin cantik pake gaun yang bikin si cowo bengong trus endingnya setelah si cewe nyanyi, mereka kissing. Sweet soft kiss. Dan abis itu jadi deket dan in love beneran deh ni cowo. Tapi, yang cowo ini ga tau adalah bahwa si cewe ngidap leukemia dan umurnya ga panjang lagi. Though akhirnya tau sih..dan it doesn’t change anything. Malah, dia mau nikahin cewe ini saat kondisinya udah makin parah. A very short happy ending karna si cewenya harus pergi tuk slamanya. Hm..sweet banget deh. Cocok buat yang seneng sama cerita romance.
Ada bagian yang gw suka banget di film ini. Jadi, si cewe ini tuh punya hm..what to call it ya? Kepengenan. Wishes. Gw lupa urutan pastinya dan lupa juga ada brapa. Yang gw inget banget cuma dua. Yaitu : dia pengen punya teleskop bintang yang gede biar bisa liat komet baru dan dia pengen berada di dua tempat dalam satu waktu. Dan si cowo ini ngebuat smua itu jadi nyata dong! Yang gw suka adalah cara si cowo ini ngewujudin keinginan si cewe tuk bisa ada di dua tempat. Jadi, si cowo ngajak si cewe jalan naek mobil. Trus tiba-tiba si tengah jalan, dia brenti dan ngajak si cewe turun. Dia nyuruh si cewe ngeregangin kakinya di tengah jalan. Si cewe nurut dengan muka bingung. Then gently the man said, “There. Now you’re in two places at a time.” (ya kurang lebih gitu deh dialognya..). Whoaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa suka banget bagian itu!!! Love that part a lot!
Hm..jadi pengen nonton filmnya lagi. Tapi gw lupa CDnya ada di kosan!!! Ya gitu deh pokonya. Buat yang blum nonton film ini, nonton deh…Ga maksud maksa. Maksud gw hanya untuk yang suka film romantis. Or, buat yang mau blajar jadi romantis. Hahaha…
